CHERRY PIE RECIPE
Take 1 part Bette Midler, 1 part Gwen Verdon, 1 part Linda Lavin, and a heaping helping of Polly Holliday and vigorously mix together with a sharp tongued object. Add a cup of diner waitress, 2 cups of lounge singer chanteuse, 3 cups vodka/diet tonic and swirl together with show tunes and cheesy one liners until light and fluffy. Bake in a pre-heated Midwest urban middle class oven until the crust is flakey and golden brown, and the cherries are juicy and bubbling. Serve hot and fresh: Cherry Pie a La Mode!

Cherry Pie started her journey in the improv world of Chicago in 1991. Many eons have passed and Cherry Pie is delighted to take to the stage again as Miss Illinois, representing The Windy City and the great South Side of Chicago in the Best In Drag Show 2023!

When Cherry Pie is not busy being a pageant queen, she is a waitress at the Midway Airport Carlton Motor Lodge by day, and the Head Chanteuse at Jimmy Joeʻs Jazz & Ribs on Cicero Avenue by night.
